1. Agreement
By booking a vehicle with OnyxDrive Miami ("we", "us"), you ("renter") agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. The rental agreement is between the renter and OnyxDrive Miami.
2. Driver Requirements
The primary driver must be at least 25 years of age, hold a valid driver's license for a minimum of 3 years, and present a valid credit card in their own name at pickup. International renters must present a valid passport and home-country license.
3. Reservations & Payment
All reservations require full payment at booking via our secure payment processor. A security deposit may be pre-authorized on your credit card at the time of pickup and released upon return of the vehicle in its original condition.
4. Vehicle Use
Vehicles may only be operated by the named driver(s) on the rental agreement. Vehicles may not be used for racing, off-roading, towing, transporting hazardous materials, or for any illegal purpose. Smoking and pets are prohibited unless agreed in writing.
5. Mileage & Geography
Daily mileage allowances are specified per vehicle. Excess mileage is billed at the rate disclosed at booking. Vehicles may not be taken outside the State of Florida without prior written authorization.
6. Damage & Liability
The renter is responsible for any damage, loss, or theft of the vehicle during the rental period, including but not limited to interior damage, mechanical damage caused by misuse, and tire/wheel damage. Traffic violations, tolls, and parking fines incurred during the rental period are the renter's responsibility.
7. Insurance
Renters must provide proof of valid auto insurance covering the rented vehicle. Supplemental coverage may be purchased through OnyxDrive Miami.
8. Late Returns
Late returns are charged at the daily rate plus a late fee. Returns more than 24 hours past the agreed time without notice may be reported as theft.
9. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida. Any dispute will be resolved in the courts of Miami-Dade County, Florida.
